Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships: This world-famous award intends to attract some of the best international students to Newcastle University. Applicants automatically consider their country eligibility if they are from any of the following countries: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. Successful candidates will receive a tuition fee discount quoted as between £1,500 to £5,000 for the first year of study.

Vice-Chancellor's Global Scholarships: It furnishes a first-year tuition discount of £4,000 for internationally recognized students coming from "non-target" countries on the above Vice-Chancellor's scholarships. Required eligibility criteria for this program are above the level of an offer for a suitable undergraduate course and would include specific academic requirements.

Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship (NUORS): It enables international students to pursue PhD studies because the scholarship pays the difference between the home and overseas tuition fees. Subsequently, there is a very reduced financial burden for the international research student. Candidates must secure a place in one of their interested research programs and apply separately.

For UK and EU Students:

Opportunity Scholarships: An annual bursary of up to £2,000 is offered to those UK and EU undergraduate students whose household income is £35,000 or below.
