Newcastle University provides a wide range of scholarships available for both UK and international students pursuing the myriad levels of study prospects. Most of the scholarships mainly target students as a mark of competitive and merit-based achievements, financial support and inclusion.
For International Students:
Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships: This world-famous award intends to attract some of the best international students to Newcastle University. Applicants automatically consider their country eligibility if they are from any of the following countries: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. Successful candidates will receive a tuition fee discount quoted as between £1,500 to £5,000 for the first year of study.
Vice Chancellor's Excellence Scholarships: This particular award is designed for very distinguished students from selected countries and offers huge discounts on tuition fees. Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship (NUORS): It enables international students to pursue PhD studies because the scholarship pays the difference between the home and overseas tuition fees. Opportunity Scholarships: An annual bursary of up to £2,000 is offered to those UK and EU undergraduate students whose household income is £35,000 or below.
